An attempt to catch up on current day Dot Live (.LIVE) and AppLand, also to gauge if there is enough interest in keeping an AppLand/Dot Live general going. Just discuss or ask anything you want about Dot live and AppLand here.

>Who are Dot Live?
Nowadays you might recognize them most easily as the agency that Cyber Girl Siro, one of the 4 Heavenly Kings, are in.
They used to be amongst the top agencies in the industry before Yozakura Tama incident happened.
Baacharu was known as also one of the greatest vtubers at some point.

>What is AppLand?
The company behind Dot Live, relevant now that they have debuted another branch called VPI Cafe/BuiPai in 2023, who by all means have been functioning like kouhais of the Dot Live talents.

>Friends?
Being a seasoned player in the industry, Dot Live talents has A LOT of close acquaintances. It might be of interest to the thread to keep the discussion extended to them as well.

The company isn't perfect, but with everyone enduring stagnated (and some negative) growth to stay in Dot Live to this day because they love it, I decided to have faith again.

I suppose you could start with a small 1-2 line intro of some of the interesting newer talents perhaps?
Been on this board for a while, and what I've found is that EOPs are definitely interested in interesting JP content, but they will only care if there's a clip with EN subtitles or a transcript/qrd of a JP clip/stream timestamp.
They're also more focused on comedy/entertainment when it comes to JP, so bits that don't do too many JP culture references are more likely to gain traction.
Good music can also be helpful, so if there's a small selection of covers, that might help as well.
Keep it small and drip feed though (preferably over the course of a week or so), because spamming like 20 streams and 30 song covers will just cause flashbacks to Nijisanji and instinctual repulsion.

So basically, Dot Live only had 1 wave of debut after IdolBu debut (and subsequent tragedy). It was 2021 gen of Rikumu, Milily and Rururica.
I love all of them but they are still below 30k subs after years now, it is clear that .Live is beyond repair in the game of algorithm and viewer recognition in general.

Which, I think, was the primary reason why a new branding and vibe was needed for the new girls, and so far it's proving pretty successful.
