Would a disability centric Vtubber agency work? There’s a lot of disabled NEETS out there so why not market their disabilities as a skill. Blind girls, Deaf Girls, the severely retarded, amputees that sort of thing. It worked for Katawa Shoujo

I imagine it'll happen when 3D motion tracking becomes actually good. Like, detailed finger movement good. Then there's the fact that American Sign Language isn't the same as Japanese Sign Language, etc etc.

A good chunk of Vtubers are disabled in some way anon.
Vtubing appeals to disabled people because a lot of them can't have a regular job so its an opportunity to make some money with the extra time they have on their hands. Using an avatar instead of your face is also appealing to a lot of people with disabilities because they may have equipment they don't want you to see (breathers, urine bags) or are too disabled to do their makeup and shit so may feel self concious. Streaming is also a way to interact with the world when normally you may not be able to go outside.

I would like to see a deaf mute vtuber but 1. The audience will be very small and niche and 2. It would be an incredibly expensive investments since they likely need 3D with good gesture tracking including fingers right away.

Eh, realistically speaking, it can run for 1-2 years and then close down. Too much hassle and shit to cater to each disabled person. Besides the eventual in-fighting over who's the king of retards of the corpo.
