My longstanding conspiracy theory, yet to be disproved so far, is that Gura and holo are not/were not on good terms, Gura prob fucked herself over in her original contracts, and her hiatus wasn't just health but business reasons (the silence of all the myth girls during that time directly implies it, because they could comment on her behalf if it was health things), and why Gura has arguably talked significantly less about their relationship etc with cover than the other girls. Gura has almost never said anything about that stuff compared to the other girls. There's lots of evidence, of course all circumstantial, that Gura and cover don't have a good relationship anymore. Prob mainly being they've made so much money off her image compared to what they've given her, but that was the contract she signed.
I find it interesting, in all that context in regard to all the other myth girl's streaming history. Ina ended up being more consistent!
So wtf is happening? She was smart enough before to not tell everyone she was back and left it indiscriminate... but then now she did, and has disappeared again lol.
Gura is such an asset though it would not surprise me she signed a new contract where she doesn't have to do anything until they tell her. She's one of the faces of the company that they've used to market, she has some pull
