Is a dumb comparison... Hololive already has years of experience with 3D concerts, and it has a multi-million dollar studio... there is no one in the West that has their level of expertise in this area. Any studio in the West that would do a 3D concert, will basically be like Hololive in 2019.

The entire point of this thread is that Kiara's birthday 2022 concert was not done by Cover because Japan's borders were still closed due to Covid. It was recorded in Ame's home studio (which is technically a "studio in the West"), yet the quality was far superior than the other concert.

It should be noted: we know from other 3D streams at Ame's place that they didn't have enough mocap suits. So they had to share. One would wear it, and then another right after.
Now in case you don't know anything about mocap suits: They are skintight; it's common to not wear clothes underneath them. They are also fairly thick, for durability's sake. They just don't breathe at all; so you get very sweaty in a mocap suit. Just a fun thing to imagine.

Hololive artists did amazing with the models and other assets. + all that concert experience means they can do this homemade.

Vshojo is still learning + has less seasoned artists
