Instead of trying to focus on cute sweet idols, that doesn't match the company image.

They should only hire meheras and troublemakers.

Imagine if one nijisanji vtuber actively tried to make people on twitter cancel Pekora. Or make Gura cry.
And on success she would go "OHOHOHOHOHOH!!!!!!"

Wouldn't you also want a villainous vtuber?

As successful as a mask off business model would be at attracting a dedicated fanbase willing to donate, I'm pretty sure it's illegal enough for Japan to shut them down if they actually go out inciting violence, as would be demanded of them.

they should hold a vtuber "death" game. The winner gets the right to graduate with a full honors + 5% merch cut while everyone who loses is instantly terminated

Westerners only care about vtuber drama anyway. Even the biggest streamers barely break 5k these days, a concert-type event might hit low 5views, but a drama stream? 127k for Dokibird, 61k for Elira easily.

Issue with drama is you need to build the content up before you can get the payload of it crashing down. If you don't raise the emotional stakes before the drama stream, nobody will care.
Only reason you get 127k drama viewers for Dokibird is because we have 2 whole years of background lore to unpack for the big reveal.
It's why everyone hates dramanigger channels. They're stealing the content payloads other creators built up.
This is something wrestling orgs understand, and something twitch e-celebs don't. Shit influencers think they can just stir an empty pot and get views.

Ah geez, if only we could find a villainous vtuber who enjoys playing the heel role.
Just where are the cackling villainesses in the industry?

Women love watching women being bitches to each other. It's why Mean Girls is so popular, it's why Real Housewives of ____ is so popular among normie femoids.
Unironically, this would be probably one of the best moves they could make. Hell I'd watch the clique implode in live. Just imagine a collab where they dox each other, one of them comes out and says they fucked their boyfriend and is pregnant with their baby. How one them has a secret discord and they put on exotic dances for the fattest of the fattest paypigs and then releases discord messages making fun of them. Absolute ratings GOLD

So basically, the entire company doing nothing but that Millie 4chan stream.

What they should actually do is making a death/graduation show where they do stupid challenges and people get kicked out if they have the lowest score at the end of the month, Some actually interesting graduation content as that is there brand at this point.

They're doing all of that, which is why so few people want to watch them
