Back then it was assumed that not renewing your contract would be all that was needed, and that contracts were signed maybe 2-3 months prior to joining the company. But if what Mysta and Pomu said is true and that they put in their graduation notice months in advance, leaving the company doesn’t seem to be that easy an endeavor either. It’s in stark contrast to Vox “Leaving is always an option” Acoomer, it makes you wonder if the management deliberately drags their feet just so the talents give up and decide stay instead.

Wouldn't the vast majority of those "likely to graduate" have put their request this month? So if you were to take Rosemi as an example, they will only let her go around summer.
If someone were to quit this month or the next, it would have to be a liver who was showing signs of not giving a fuck anymore since last year, like Pomu or Kyo, and I don't think there' was anyone else like them.

>> No.70529156

I think Fulgur or Vox would be perfect candidates desu. Fulgur seems like the type that would be fed up with running damage control for NijiEN, and IIRC one of his “jokes” last year during an emo karaoke-totsu was “I’m done with NijiEN” after barely anyone outside of Kotoka showed up in chat, want to say this was late spring-early summer. People post also here about how he genuinely took breaks from NijiEN’s discord and that it seems like he’s not interested in Reimu’s HWITE PPL jokes anymore either, probably because sick of being the whipping boy of a bunch of menheras that killed the company. If anyone were to graduate, he would seem like a case of of “trying to be an adult, but gave up knowing who he’s working with”.
Vox on the other hand mentioned in 2023 how he legit sat on his balcony like a melodramatic ponce and realized he will never be as happy as he was in 2022. And last year he showed multiple signs of hating his fanbase, too. I don’t think he also got certain merch while the remaining Luxiem members did, too.

She'll get terminated Zaion style with the company scapegoating her for everything. This way they'll save a lot of money on restructuring and with her reputation being in the gutter there is no fear of Selen-style backlash. This week is the 30-man Tekken tournament (6 coaches, 24 participants). Among the participants are Rosemi and Vivi; and they'll technically be doing a collab with Lily Pichu, since she's also in the tournament.
So if there's any fuckery from management this week, it'll most likely be related to that.

2 big things next week: the anniversary of Zaion's termination on 3/10, and possible expiration of the related NDAs; and the quarterly earnings report on 3/14.
For 3/10, there are three possibilities:
Either Sayu will spill the beans,
or she'll just move on and keep on keeping on as she's been doing for the past year,
or she'll try to move on and keep on keeping on as she's been doing for the past year, but Niji will force her hand by saying or doing something incredibly stupid

The earnings report on 3/14 will be very interesting. It'll be 8 hours of Riku explaining EN management's fuckery to the shareholders; basically his apology video all over again, except in Business Japanese and lasting longer than 6 minutes. What happens after that is anyone's guess, but I can't imagine it includes long-term plans for the continued employment of all 31 livers currently in the EN branch.

If we assume what leaker anon (specifically >>69826569) and Luca's ex-mod are saying is true, it is extremely likely she, and some other livers, are blocked from doing so. Likewise, later in leaker anon's post, they claim the only "correct" stance on Selen is to "bemoan the damage" she has done, possibly this was done with Zaion too. Both Luca's ex-mod and leaker anon suggest that the livers have their own opinions and have distanced themselves from the situation as much as possible. Also, Sayu said she still has friends in the company but she refuses to name them because they could become targets for harassment.

I mean this in a good way, but the sheer audacity of Fulgur’s actions during this time while Nijisanji was under heavy scrutiny by not only QRTing Elira’s with a statement that completely dissented from the rest of livers who QRT’d it, but also potentially breaking NDA to show Scarle was ok and then starting #HugsForScarle has imo gone largely unnoticed.

Pomu was already gone and Kyo had already made his graduation public when Selen's termination dropped. If it had gone like Zaion's then there probably would have the next in line be graduating by now. It most likely was. Scarle is almost always in her own bubble and rarely collabs unless if it’s with Iluna due to how extremely shy she is. Iirc, other than Hex, Fulgur, and the rest of Iluna, she was friends with Nina, Zaion, Selen, and Kyo.
She took Nina graduating hard, and after Selen’s termination, she had two or three membership streams where she was just bawling her eyes out for like 30 to 45 minutes trying to tell her chat along the lines of “hopefully everything is going to be alright”, “thank you for supporting me despite everything that’s happened”, and “I’ll always be grateful for your guys support”

Not a bad bet, but Nijisanji is bigger than it's EN branch. This isn't to say JP is doing wonders (it's not), but the company still has enough ammo in the warchest to try new things or push out a bran new EN brand name - it worked for Brave Group. The claim floating around is that Niji has been waving financial penalties around as a threat against Livers who get too pushy about graduation. Additionally, newer Livers probably have the millstone of their debut debts hung around their necks. There's probably also concern about Nijisanji informally blacklisting them (though I'm not sure how many other corpos will pay Niji's claims any mind after the Selen fiasco).

Frankly, what should happen is the Livers who want to leave should just get together and collectively refuse to stream anymore until graduation is announced. Keeping people literally trapped in the company is a great way to manufacture more Selen/Zaion meltdowns.

>The claim floating around is that Niji has been waving financial penalties around as a threat against Livers who get too pushy about graduation.
It's called a Liquidated Damages clause. Nearly all employment contracts have them for different types of breaches. It simply states that you agree to pay the company a pre-defined amount of money that is an "estimate" of what your breach of contract would cost them. It ensures employees can't fuck around without finding out. Not including a liquidated damage clause for a given breach event means that an employer would have to go to court and fight a case proving how much damage was done before he would see any recourse. It's pain in the ass for everyone involved. So including agreed upon amounts in the contract saves a lot of headache.

Now, strictly speaking, the clause is unenforceable in many jurisdictions IF the estimate isn't genuine. That is to say, they can't slap a big ole number in there just to fuck with you. If it asks for far more than the damage to the company would actually be, it cannot be enforced. However, companies usually try to get around this by having the next line in the contract state that you agree that the estimate is genuine. It's a nice little loophole. It means you can't argue they are being overly harsh once they go after you for damages. Because you already agreed, in writing, that the number was fair.

In the case of someone ending their fixed-term contract early, the estimated amount would likely be defined as $X/day remaining in the contract term. So as an example, your employment contract could estimate that you are worth $500/day to the company. If you sign the contract, and then decide to quit 100 days before your contract is over, you would owe them $500 x 100 = $50,000. I could not even begin to hazard a guess on what Anycolor's numbers would actually be, but I hope that explains the concept a little. It's also certainly possible that they are incompetent enough to not include the clause to begin with. There is no bar too low for these people to trip over.

Oh you can get all that from just Selen then. She had many, many projects that got axed or delayed to all hells. On top of that, at Niji you're literally not allowed to hire extra managers or assistants, so she was stuck organizing everything herself. The biggest apologies iirc were the costume contest where management refused to let her have a cash prize out of her own pocket, the tournament that got cancelled and she had to go on twitter and explain that "due to my actions, I won't be able to organize an international tournament again", and there was a time she streamed Resident Evil 4 for 2 full streams, about 8 hours of content before being told that she couldn't do it anymore and thus had to delete all of the videos.

OH YEAH! Early on in her career when NijiKR was still going on, they used to do whatever songs they wanted at unarchived karaoke. So she asked management if she could do that too, and it turned out KR management had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA that KR was doing that, so they got banned from doing that on top of saying no to selen.

There's also a fuck ton of corporate bullying in Zaion's document.

You find a broker that lets you buy financial derivatives like puts and calls. Puts give you the option to sell a stock at a specific price to a sucker, so the more value the stock loses the more money you make. (In this case you are betting the price will decrease.)
You can also sell calls that give someone else the right to buy your stocks for a starting fee (you are betting that the price won't increase). This is risky because losses can be virtually infinite so what you do is sell calls at a lower price and buy calls at a higher price so there is a max loss you can incur.

Everything is probably on lockdown by PR and upper management and I doubt any of them can operate as normal.
Also Nijisanji released a statement calling Selen negligible, so you can imagine what they think of the rest. And that statement was specifically crafted by their HQ for shareholders.
