I just want to add that Sony aren't the good guys here. Yes they let them keep the models/IP, but that's the minimum the girls deserve. Sony had been taking 50% of their income, for what?? They got zero support and management, it was literally worse than Niji. The only reason nobody went nuclear (Doki/Selen-style), is because all the girls are actually genuine friends with each other and care about all the time they've spent building up Prism into what it is.

Sony gave them three options last year.

1. Quit (and lose everything)
2. Leave on amicable terms (and keep IP) in March 2024 when Prism gets closed down

If you think the male debuts had anything to do with PRISM's decline than you are just stupid. The decline was already well in place by the time the males debuted. The decline was due to Luto and Shiki. Luto and Shiki were the two talents they had that were actually gaining real momentum. Luto was routinely getting viewership in the 300-400 ranged in freaking 2021 which was unheard of for a small EN corpo back then. She was even showing up in the daily superchat charts. Then Shiki debuted and she was even more popular than Luto. These two were the stars set up to be the foundation of PRISM PROJECT. However, then both of them started taking constant breaks and would go months without streaming and all the momentum was lost. This is what hurt PRISM more than anything else.
