I obviously haven't watched every holo too closely, there's not enough time for that, but with JPs I think it's more common to feel "needed" than "loved". I haven't felt the love FWMC gives us with anyone else, not even close.

They are going deeper, because our relationship is getting deeper. If anything this may end up creating a barrier for new fans a couple of years down the line, it'll feel hard to penetrate into the established meta.
Most of the "I'm your girlfriend XD" chuubas actually tone it down with time, because it was never sincere in the first place.
It's a similar situation as you can see with their voices revisiting older VODs. They sound more reserved, it's the reverse trajectory from most chuubas, who start sounding super high energy and high pitched, and as they get comfortable with their audience they drop the act and start sounding like themselves.
FuwaMoco were guarded because they weren't fully sure what to expect from their new audience, and as they got used to it, they became sillier, more high energy and cutesy.
They don't do it to cause a good first impression, they do it because they feel safe to act the way they always wanted to act.
