Store simulator is honestly an ideal stream game. It takes just a little attention from the streamer, which feels like it creates better banter than just letting them talk with nothing happening. I think having slightly divided attention lets most people relax and be more creative and fun, but just a bare microphone and chat can put too much pressure to be funny or interesting. The little distraction is exactly enough to take that edge off.

Just a thought that started nagging at me immediately after mousey's concert and looking back at Bae's live. Would it be a good idea for Gunrun to invest on a 3d studio at the level of the Hololive one in Japan? I thought about it a bit more and the most obvious con that comes to mind is that outside of mousey, henya, and probably Kson, no one else seems to be interested in doing 3d lives. And for good reason since organizing those things seem to be a nightmare. But if you think about the pros it kinda makes sense(?)

Despite everything, I've felt like there's always been this weird unspoken distinction that VShoujo was always a tier below Holo and Niji. That also, in my opinion, is one of the reasons why the JP expansion (VSJ next) failed. Not the main one of course but it was a factor. Having their own studio immediately puts them in the big boy table meaning more companies not just in the US but in other places will take them more seriously.

This one's important since that means that there's a way for them to recoup the cost of that thing without having to spam a bajillion lives. It also means that they suddenly become the most accessible vtuber focused 3d studio in America meaning all other Western vtubers (including holo and Niji) would go to them for 3d lives, further increasing their Mindshare

Let's be honest, for people aiming for the top, the first choice will always be holo since they offer the most opportunities out of any of the current corpos. But it doesn't always have to be that way. A 3d studio suddenly opens up a ton of opportunities which attracts other ambitious people who no longer need to go Hololive or bust. It attracts idolfags like Pomu so instead of having to go to Niji first, vsj becomes a viable second or even first option. Those who want to do creative shit can now do so with a proper 3d studio.
Maybe it's just me but I think that investing in something like this is something that they really need to look into.

True, but I was thinking more like this. Someone like calli is never leaving holo for vsj not just because of the UMG contract but also because the opportunities that holo presents is way more than VShoujo. A 3d studio doesn't even out those opportunities but it's a step.

I'm not just talking about your general use 3d studio. I'm talking about a real vtuber focused 3d studio with specialized staff and someone who knows how to utilize camera angles and zoom ins. Someone that can really help them put on a show.

Vsj has been making in-roads into Japan, but, like all things over there: even if the messenger is Japanese they still don't like it 99% of the time. That said, Animate collab is pretty recent. Kson and (to a lesser extent Nazuna) have done a few odd brand colalbs in recent memory. The girls have had some pretty high profile game collabs: Yazuza and Smite being the most notable.
I think the most valuable thing Vshojo could do right now would be to expand the roster, all the existing talents are one the very best in their niche lane and a few have really broad appeal. I think instead of being "the best org", it would be better to be the org that reps the best talent. Everything else just slots into place with people wanting to work with other talented people, be it music, games, events and branding.

About the concert? A few things, but probably saving most for the “watch along”.
