My friend was always a huge weeb. Honestly he was the one who got me into anime. Thank god I wasn’t retarded enough to like this degenerate shit.
My friend used to hang around with me and our friend group back in high school, all of us were mega nerds but we still did irl like play pool, bowling or just chill around the mall weekly.
But after high school ended and we all went to university(the same one since it was local and high ranking globally), he started hanging out with us less and less. He would simply reject any invitation to ANYTHING and would not leave his fucking house. EVEN WORSE he started fucking spamming our group chat with fucking hololive memes and videos or whatever. If it wasn’t for his constant daily shit posting of hololive that takes 3 seconds to scroll past I would have never have heard of this cesspool.
That was 3 years ago
Last year all of us saw him fucking once THE ENTIRE YEAR. We were gonna hang out but I hate a midterm so our friends were waiting outside the exam room. After I finished I went to meet them and I saw him walking out of the other set of doors of the room. Turns out he was taking the exact same course but ofc he didn’t say shit, even back when we asked him. All of us were shocked to see him. We approached him(obviously it wouldn’t be him approaching us), and asked him to hang out for the first time in a fucking year.
“Nah…I’m busy…peace guys haha…”
And he just fucking leaves
The rest of us go to the mall and when I check the group chat when I get there guess what

Just recently he posted about a hololive expo or something happening nearby. None of us gave a shit but said we are willing to go with him just so we could chill with him in person again. Again, he said no

it's a painful part of life but some things are no longer meant to be. I also used to have several close friends that I shared everything with. 3am text talks, suicidal thoughts and promises to be friends for life, and as life happens, they grew distant. They became "busy" with things but I see them having new friends. they just no longer wish to be close to me and that's fine.

this is just like when I realized I had to start watching Nijisanji when my Hololive Oshi is no longer fun to watch... but oh well.
