Bocchi the rock was an unexpected success no one expected it to be as big as it was but a year later unless you’re a stan yes it flopped. I can go into more subjective things like the director being dumb or the immense costs of 12 eds with the parody ops but the main points are the blu ray sales sucked, it didn’t boost the manga in fact the manga is on a decline both physically and digitally. Compared to may of last year when the drop started it had 5.5 million daily readers on average to 3 million on average right now. Think of a Disney movie with 150 million budget only making 300 million that is a flop

I've noticed that I've been eating one meal a day a lot recently. I take in a lot of calories and carbs during that meal though. I probably don't need those carbs, I don't know what I weigh now, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm over 200lbs again.
I feel that heavy, but I'm not sure if I actually am. I might have just lost muscle now that I have machines that do my normally taxing job.

It worked for me so well for a long time. I went from 260lbs to 167lbs, which had a lot of help with how hard I physically worked.
I've been thinking of doing that a little more, it isn't fun, but it's about changing your lifestyle not just your diet.
On a side note: I can still somehow manage to do 30 pushups! I don't know how I still have this muscle. I've heard that muscle you've built previously never actually goes away.

I saw this pic posted recently in the catalog in a much smaller resolution, and so I tried to help them out and post the original version, but couldn't find it right away on my PC. So I went to the artist's twitter post where he posted this character sheet for the shark'd animation.

But here's the thing, the first time this character sheet was posted to 4chan was in this thread where the file size was 525 KB and named "IMG_20220918_151935.jpg"

However, when you download the original size picture in that tweet, the file size is only 418 KB. So where did the higher quality version that was posted to 4chan come from? I checked everyone's twitter who was involved with the animation and found nothing. Do any of you have any idea? Was it someone involved with the project that came here and posted it themselves?
If there are higher quality production materials for the animation, I'd love to be able to archive those instead of the twitter versions.

Also, one thing I just realized. The 4chan post that contained the original high quality version of the character sheet was posted at 14:31:12 EST, but the hhmmss part of the image name is 15:19:35, so that means that the creator of that image was not in the US. The thing about lossy media formats is that the filesize isn't directly determined by the content, but the application writing the file and doing the compression. I just opened the image and re-saved it as jpeg, and look, it's the same image at the same resolution with a slightly higher filesize, and actually, slightly worse quality, because it's gone through another layer of compression. Obviously you don't want to just randomly resave images but people are stupid and do that all the time, so that anon in the thread may easily have done something like that in the process of moving it from their phone to their PC, given the filename, or maybe their phone did it as a part of saving it to the camera roll. Either way, it's a good example of why you can't really use filesize to determine the best quality source for something.

As far as downloading the image, however, this is wrong. A 512 KB file saved in Chrome will be the same file saved in Firefox. This is even true across operating systems. The only time the file changes is if the user re-saves the file using different parameters such as you opening it in paint and then saving it as a new format.
The problem is that upon zooming into a bunch of different places on both files, the lines and pixel distribution around them line up and are the same. There is no additional noise on either as far as I can tell. However on your image, there is.
It's possible that someone resaved it with some image editing program for some unknown reason, but that sounds like a stretch.

Twitter performs the few available lossless operations available to jpg for bandwidth reasons at the cost of compatibility and decompression memory/speed.
