I got my second-hand Yeti for about 35-40 bucks with a boom stand (which I learned actually belongs to a totally different mic that he didn't own either???) Its done me alright but I'm not super fond of the sound. Still, on a budget its a fine mic. I've heard better things about the Snowball than the Yeti though.

I haven't used it personally but I believe the Snowball is a much more recent design on newer spec parts. Both mics are cheap, but I'd tend to prefer new cheap over old model cheap.

I'm actually really enjoying streaming. I thought I'd be very scared and anxious about it at first, since I'm not a very social person nor do I have good social skills. But it's been incredibly fun to stream, even if I don't stream to a lot of people.
