it's actually perfectly reasonable that she'd whisper during the talk segments precisely -because- she wanted to minimize strain on her voice for the singing parts as much as humanly possible. at any rate, i also believe she had to do playback simply because it's the most likely explanation after she talked a lot about having to do recordings during the week leading up to the concert and the fact her voice was totally shot after the concert, i'm just saying that her whispering during the talk segments are not really solid proof of that.
