I was under the impression that this was the case early on but changed significantly by around late 2022.

That said, until now I really did expect Niji to still be more popular than Holo because it has a lot of female fans. So even though I knew it kinda changed a while ago, it is still surprising for me to see how far Holo is now in popularity compared to Niji.
