I agree, she’s the only hololive member who can be flexible about what she sings and it actually sounds good. Suisei can only sing one genre, Mori isn’t half bad but I’d prefer her rapping than anything, Marine’s voice only works for one genre, Nerissa and Irys are better technical singers but they just sound soulless. More so nerissa than irys unironically. Something about Mumei’s voice bothers me but that’s just my opinion I can’t really speak on her because I have more a biased leaning towards gura.

People /here/ love to spin this narrative that she’s not as good as she is but her karaoke numbers are consistently high nearly 4 years in. Logically if someone is tired of a voice they’ll clock out for good but her karaoke always sit at around 40-50k every time and analytics of her CCV and Likes remain consistent as well so it’s actual people and not just bots like Advent where they’ll reach a 30-40k peak and only have like 8-11k likes.
People will just brush this aside because “numbers bad” but ironically numbers are a literal display of viewer engagement and retention, a display of quality.

Gura is the only voice that is genuinely smooth - and uses her voice like an instrument. She's the only holotalent who I can enjoy anything she sings.

Even so-called 'singer' talents cant reach - suisei has occasional scratchiness, and IRyS too. Gura is legit talented.

NTA but I'm not sure I'd call Gura's voice flexible, to me she sounds the same in nearly every song too, that soft crooner-esque club jazz voice that lends itself well to western pop as well. That doesn't bother me though, she sings beautifully, but she isn't really varying it up too much.
I can't say much about Marine, I don't really remember any of her karaokes well enough to judge how she sounds in different songs. As for Suisei, it's true that she truly shines in powerful songs and it especially lends itself well for j-rock and upbeat j-pop, but the way she sings songs like Ryuseigun and GHOST are completely different. I think she has a fantastic soft voice that she puts to great use in the former, and in covers like her Shoujo Rei.
