There's probably not going to be a mega implosion (technically that's already happened) but NijiEN is on the way to a slow bleeding death, because nobody wants to be associated with them. No outsiders would want to do collabs, no sponsorships from other companies, no artists, animators or riggers for commissions etc...
There's going to be 1-2 talents graduating from the branch every month as they see the writing on the wall and there's not going to be enough of an influx of new blood to replace them because of all the scrutiny of their business practices and wages (people who had applied before mentioning how Niji wanted them to quit their other careers and work solely for the company plus that one job listing for a business level bilingual manager for minimum wage). The branch is likely to just get folded over like all the Niji overseas branches because JP can't manage foreign branches for shit. If EN folds over then there's going to be a lot of scrutiny on Anykara considering that pretty much all of their foreign branches just keep dying and it'll likely end up affecting their main branch as well, though the company will probably survive as a whole.

Something you forget is that beyond just the damage to Niji a lot of indie vtubers have done really well for themselves in 2023 and it's pretty well established that you no longer need a big corpo to be successful, and looking at newer Niji gens even before this drama they weren't especially successful. There was already a pretty big pile of reasons to dodge Niji and their restrictive workplace especially for EN talents (restrictive corpo perms bullshit, working with a foreign org where the higher ups don't even speak English, poor support in terms of advertising, merch, collabs etc.) and now on top of that we have clear evidence of workplace harassment, spiteful business practices, character assassination etc.

There's no benefits structure in Niji.
Most of the other corpos that aren't floundering offer a support structure and/or reinvest their cut of vtuber activities back into said activities so the vtuber can grow.
Niji's only benefit is "You can put Nijisanji on your stream" and "we make the character design for you" they also get an iphone, allegedly, but seeing as they'll only hire experienced streamers and vtubers, you probably already have that setup. They also allegedly get travel reimbursement as well, but only for economy seats.

Compare to Hololive's known benefits package

Idol and Phase have strong packages, too. Hololive's still the gold standard, but I would still consider being a Phase or Idol streamer to be a modestly good career.
I have no idea what vshojo's compensation package is like, but what few things I've heard, they're honestly just an indie coalition with some really big names.
And then there's being an indie, which means you get to sign with any talent management agency (like Mythic), as your own IP, and have total freedom over your content, with the risks that comes with. That is still very appealing for chuubas not trying to do it as a full career, or chuubas doing very niche and/or corpo-unfriendly content.

Nijisanji, like all of their other problems, are trying to approach the industry as a Japanese Tech Corpo from 5 years ago. The industry has moved beyond Japan's borders and has advanced even within JP regions. There are certain corners you can't cut anymore. They're already struggling to appeal to new talents. TTT and Krisis both had at least 1 more person each, and if rumors are to be believed, at least 1 person has quit their next wave before debut. And then you have all the people like Cy Yu that got scared off because Niji told them to stop working other jobs.
With Matara and Kuro and Doki all showing that you can be HIGHLY successful without Niji's leash, so long as you have even a modicum of actual talent as a streamer, you're going to get existing Niji talents looking for an exit as well, and that's all assuming there's NO drama. Niji without drama is like a frog in the desert.

The biggest problem for them going forward I think is just that there's no real benefit to joining Nijisanji anymore. It used to be that "oh its easier to get into than hololive, you get more freedom in what you do on stream and they take in males" but now
-they don't take amateurs or promising rookies and only get people with an established streaming career
-they're way more restrictive than they let on plus they axed Zaion for the mildest jokes
-there's other corps that take in males now and indie males aren't really a dead market anymore
They've lost all their appeals to an aspirant talent and there's no real reason to want to join them anymore.

I don't think CCVs for anyone outside that mess is heavily affected. Vantacrow is streaming to 1.2k people now and he streamed to that many people in January. I'm sure some people left, but overall I don't think it's career ending. If you're coming as an 100, 200 or even 400 CCV indie I'd say it's still worth it.
