She seems very disappointed in her recent covers reception. The last member stream was a little bit sad how much she was pushing for people to get eyes on it. If she wants her music to be well received she needs to stop releasing so much and promote them more. If she wants eyes on her covers she should do a karaoke and raid the karaoke into her cover premiere.

You bring up Mori but the thing about Mori is she was established from the get go, she debuted with a ton of music and also at a time when vtubing was much smaller, getting far more eyes on her. Nerissa debuted years later in a gen where honestly two of the members have outshined her as far as casual Hololive fans go. She has to do something different if she wants to stand out. Being a run of the mill boot up the FotM stream and check out after two hours streamer is never going to help her music.

Translating them and getting permissions take time but they would be much better received if she released far less but did them in English. Japanese just isn't her strong suit. The issue is again, a mental thing above all else. SHE thinks and is convinced somehow that she is bad at games, then we see her blast through multiple things, have good reactions and reflexes (literally and baffingly headshotting three lycans in a row while she was crying she was lost), and then being the murder queen in Left 4 Dead over all her genmates. I fully believe an FF7 Rebirth playthrough would be amongst the best in Holo with her commentary, I'd place a bet on it.

Its obvious she is a wonderfully supportive and talented person, but somewhere along the line, inside of her, something was beaten down and she is raw to most negative criticism or internalizes it, you don't even need to speculate, because it shows in her mannerisms and what she says, making it hard to gauge whether she is coping with her own traumas or just having healthy self-deprecating bits as jokes. I'm sure she doesn't like people attempting to perceive her, but we got a laundry list of trauma at this point, and I'd say we barely scratched the surface. Not that we should get in her business, but I think some of those old wounds do affect her being able to grow like we all believe she can.

Doesn't help that Hololive fans kinda get over zealous in their teasing and go pretty out of pocket a lot of the time. Its like guys, learn tact at the very least, entertainers they may be, but people got feelings. And while she loves her family and they are cool, we're here for her, and I'd say we all hope that sentiment actually penetrates her mindset. That said, she does champion getting over things to embrace the real you, and has inspired people so much, so I hope she just gets that there is a reason she's so sought after and liked.

For her members content, she did enjoy taking on members in MonHun both with and without Biboo, so I don't think it's about hating or fearing us per se. Its likely the same as her thoughts on meeting at cons, jittery because she is an introvert trying to grow out of it, despite what seems to be an ocean of friends and colleagues.
