I'd say his best stuff were the collabs with Magni, Calli and Kronii. The TTRPG was fun, the Uno tournament was fun, the Mario Party collab and the Monopoly one were all very fun.
The commentary with Magni of the Worms collab was rather fun too.
His collab with Bae was very entertaining as well.
As for solo content, his Zomboid streams were fun, as well as his Papers, Please and his Obra Dinn playthroughs, especially the former.
Haven't watched his later streams, to be fair, but everything I saw he did as Vesper was miles better than what I've seen so far as Randon.

i think it's because in the wild wild west of streaming you may have "total content freedom", but human beings are adverse to friction. we'll take the path of least resistance. which in streaming terms, means going for the lowest of low hanging fruit in terms of humour. it means streaming for really long hours to get as many possible viewers. it means not taking the time to cut stream between switching games.

it may be an easier time for the streamer, but at the end of the day the product suffers dramatically

the vast majority of streams can only go on for so long before fatigue starts settling in. you just can't sustain a sufficient level of entertainer energy past a certain point. so unless there's some unspoken agreement that the stream is going to be some endurance stream or the streamer isn't going to be as high energy for a very long time, most should cap off at 2-5 hours.
