I think a lot of artists are scared/unwilling to draw other artists. Its either "Oh no, I cant draw them, they are so much better at art than me they will just think I am bad, or "They can always just draw themselves, they wouldn't appreciate it as much as somebody who cant draw will. If you’re only trying to network with other vtubers you’re missing out on the best thing you could possibly do for your career: network with vtuber fanartists.
The way i did this is simple: figure out what other bigger vtubers you could potentially share an audience with, and become a genuine fan of them. Interact with their audience and you’ll easily come across vtuber fanartists that see you as a peer, will check out your stream and by sharing that many things in common will grow alongside you.
It’s easiest to do this with corpo vtubers because the fan pool tends to be larger. Holostars and phase are pretty decent in my experience.
The thing is you have to be a genuine fan and it takes investment, pretending is doable but much more of a pain in the ass than if it comes naturally.
One pitfall of this is the artist might be trying to do the reverse and if they’re networking with vtubers they might be trying to become one themselves and using you for that, but you might still end up with some fanart as a result and worst case scenario that’s still another peer you networked with.

Everyone draws like shit when they start, EVERYONE, no one is born knowing, drawing is a skill like any other and you WILL get better if you practice and study consistently, this is a fact.
You're putting yourself down and letting this affect the reality, go on YouTube find art tutorials for beginners, make a challenge for yourself like draw for 30 days everyday, even if you draw just a head everyday, I guarantee, you will get better.
