Why do you watch vtubers but not flesh streamers?
What's the difference?
Just like there are whores in vtubing, there are good content creators on youtube and Twitch.
Just like there are great vtubers, there are people comparable to living trash among the flesh streamers.
What do you get out of a vtuber that you don't get from flesh streamers?

Most female flesh streamers do unwatchable coomer streams like Amouranth.

To compare, this is like saying all vtubers are like Melody from vshojo.

Do we really have to explain 3dpd now? Is this how far 4chan has fallen?

So you're saying even if your oshi acted exactly the same way she did now but used a face-cam instead of a live2d rig, you'd hate her?

Yes because you didn’t bully Parrot into suicide and now his underaged fans are raiding the board

I've been watching vtubers since before this board was created and the only discussion could be found on /jp/ or /wsg/. I'm just wondering why the perception is so skewed since I also watch flesh streamers who genuinely act identically to "seiso" vtubers and even those who don't even use a cam nor png in the first place.

I have been bullied pretty badly all my life and social anxiety is a daily struggle. The sight of another human being triggers me.

Ok, give examples of these good flesh streamers
Because every time someone brings them up, whether they're male or female, they're always the repulsive kind. And the only nice thing I could say about some of them is they're beautiful on the outside

This isn't a recommendations thread or a thread discussing non-vtubers, but how being a vtuber changes the experience.
To answer your question though, someone like ManlyBadassHero who's popular enough to be a good example instead of some literally-who that could potentially skirt your rules due to being so small: He doesn't even use a camera or png, when he streams it's mostly touhou or older metroidvania games used as a backdrop for talking, he dislikes people bringing up horny shit in his chat but doesn't make it a whole situation when someone does bring it in there, and he probably has a deeper understanding of both Japanese culture and media than most people on this board so he's not even being a grifter. He doesn't even stream for money because he runs a Youtube channel as a main thing.
If he were to add the anime drawing of himself he has as a png to his streams, would that make it better?

I watch male flesh streamers and female vtubers

>> No.69232688

streamers are beggars.
vtubers are small anime studios funded by begging.

I like cute girls. Not enough feminine energy in my life. To answer your question, yes even pngs would help his audience connect and relate better. VTubers are extremely approachable, when's the last time you felt any stakes in getting to know a fictional character. The question is what's your problem with vtubers.

>> No.69233020

I watch both. If a streamer is funny I don't care if they use flesh or an anime girl.

I don't have a problem since like I said, I've been watching vtubers since these threads were on /jp/. I'm just wondering what causes the vitriolic double standard that makes people here treat streamers the way someone from /a/ would treat a vtuber.

I didn't watch either until last month. Streaming was never my cup of tea. It's just that some chuubas are legitimately entertaining.

>> No.69234278

>>69230286
I just gravitate towards vtubers because there's a much higher chance that they have interests similar to mine.

>> No.69234290

>>69230286
Because I like anime women more. I do watch some graduated chuubas who became regular streamers although they don't tend to use a facecam. I've also watched some fleshies I've come to know from their collabs with vtubers.
Ultimately, 2D just takes too much of my time. I've got no time for 3DPD.

Unironically. People are not inherently good, especially in a country like Japan. If anything, those who've learned that firsthand have better stories to tell.
