Corpo vtubers tend to be attractive because them being attractive helped them succeed in outside ventures, which is what made corpos hire them in the first place. If Mori was an ugly girl, she never would have had the success she had outside of vtubing, and hololive would have probably passed her over for someone else. The average vtuber on the other hand is more likely to hide their looks, whether it's because they're straight up ugly, or they're too average to make it in a field where attractive people tend to be the ones to rise to the top.

I think I'm average. I just don't like being on camera because most women are expected to wear make up and fancy clothes all the time but I don't like make up and I stream in pajamas often.
