Japan has all those things. It's a very moderate society and people try to understand each other or don't get involved if it doesn't concern them. It's not this raging right-wing utopia like some want to believe.
This is why lots of marginalized and LGBT people have preferred living in Japan for decades meanwhile the west introduces new laws without teeth but criticizes Japan for not having those laws. It's the preferable place to live because laws don't mean shit without a moderate society.
Japanese society is actually better than the society of their international critics on their own terms, just not necessarily on paper with all the boxes ticked. That's why they should ignore the west.
