I feel like she might want to a bit because of her mother's back injury but given that she has enough to be able to fly back on short notice if something happens I don't think it'd be too much of a problem for her.
She's talked about the cafe plans but even ignoring that why would she be taking a full Japanese course if she didn't intend on moving to Japan for at least a year or two?
She probably plans to move there late this year or next year at some point and is going a Japanese course in Japan instead of remotely so that she can test out living there for a few months to see if it's worth it.
Given the extremely low cost of property there she could probably buy a place pretty easily too.

It is a hard situation for sure and I am still trying to process everything. I was holding my judgment until I saw Selen's response to that video and what she said makes a lot of sense to me.

I think the one potentially redeeming out for her on this is that it's been shown Niji has control over their livers' channels/socials, and it's a pre-recorded video. The timing doesn't necessarily have to be attributed purely to her, as there's reasonable doubt. But it's putting a lot of responsibility/malice on management to do so, which continues to be a murky pit of incompetence, it's just not clear to what extent they're forcing things, or what the direction is from the top down.

That video didn't do anything other than shit on Doki. Forget the timing. What about what Elira said kept them safe? It was a terrible PR move to have talents try and damage control, you know your damage control failed when you have to damage control your own damage control hours later, and all it did was cast aspersions on Elira, Enna and Millie and Elira painted a big red target on herself for no good reason. Selen obviously didn't release a document doxxing anyone, so why wait a fucking week to say you were scared she'd dox you and her friends?
To me, the only explanation is that they recorded that statement before her termination tweet went out, in the spur of the moment, having just have read that document.
It is hard to attribute any sort of thoughtfulness or tact to this move without painting Elira either as the biggest retard in NijiEN along with Vox and Ike, or without painting her as vile and callous.
