I've not posted here before but I'm not sure where else to ask this... is it normal for views on a YouTube VOD to fluctuate? Like... I could swear the numbers get lower sometimes. Subs I understand, because you can unsub, but you can't "unview" something... right?

Yes, they do cut them. My Amnesia VOD had about 30-40 views on it during the first week. The next week, it dropped to 7 views. The kicker is that it has more than 7 likes on it.
The most common guess I see as to why this happens is that YouTube is simply removing views from bots, but I *highly* doubt channels that get views in the single/double digits are botting. I've noticed this is happening less as my viewership increases, even. But yeah, I hate that this happens and it does harm small creators.

Fair enough, thanks for affirming that it's normal at least. I thought I was going crazy or something. It's not like it's a huge difference... it's less than 10 views total between the maximum and minimum, but considering the maximum is only 22, it's very easy to notice that shift. I figured the views were just a rough estimation, since the graph after the stream almost always suggests that the amount of views never got anywhere near close to the number it says.
