Could the real reason for Zaion's termination be that she posed a threat to the monopoly Elira's clique has on management communication?

Zaion is fluent in English and Japanese, in fact, she IS Japanese which may positively impact the Japanese higher ups opinion of her.

Thats why I think Elira clique had to ruin managements opinion of her.

Some of the shit about financial malfeasance from Elira, Millie, and Enna makes too much sense. They have talked about being well off, while Selen who is more popular is broke. Selen having to cover for management with her own money for artists leaves me to wonder what was going on with management. Management either went around low balling or stiffing people constantly or some middle man between JP management and the EN branch (Elira) was skimming funds. Paying individual private artists for project commissions that take months means that if money is being skimmed they would be the ones to get fucked.

I know it's fun to make up rrats, but let me inject some sanity.

/vt/ is a mostly male audience, so we naturally like the vtubers who pander to us with sexy girls and edgy humor. Pomu and Zaion very much fit that demographic. Selen not so much, but she was more like "one of the boys," playing shooter games and laughing at our dumb jokes.

The others in Nijisanji- Elira, Millie, Enna, and most of the men- were going for a different demographic. They were pandering to women. Cute/sexy men, and cute, bland, inoffensive, politically correct humor. They made a lot of money that way, much more than they did with their initial start of being like hololive.

From a business perspective that makes sense- go after a different market with less competition. It makes them unpopular here, but "here" is not the entire world. Don't let your own bias make you see a giant conspiracy when it's really just a product aimed at someone else.

Sorry if someone considered this already, but something just occurred to me, remember back to the whole Scarle/Aster interaction. It seems a little weird that when something like that happens, her first thought is to go to another liver to ask for advice on how to handle it, instead of approaching management regarding the issue. Of course this can easily be explained away by the awkwardness and (relatively) small scale of the scenario and wanting to handle it with subtlety, and someone you're on friendly terms with who seems responsible at the time would make sense.

But think about it, why did Aster get so butthurt to begin with? Read his side, about how he felt he kept getting ignored by people and couldn't make himself noticeable within the group space, and took it out on Scarle who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. What sort of environment would cause such a thing, even with someone that acts that way?
And more importantly, *why* wouldn't someone who is blowing up like that because they feel directly slighted and who is willing to speak out that way go to management themselves to demand a change? What do you think that would entail and what would the results be, not just for Scarle but for Aster?

Here's a real assessment of the current situation.

Its clear that many of the smaller figures like Aia and Scarle and who know who else are starting to likely have mental breakdowns from the sudden pressure they feel in being part of Nijisanji and catching strays and harassment. What probably happened is that those idols/their manager reached out to Pomu directly via Twitter DMs with a collab offer (because they are unaware of how the collab process works with Nijisanji, UNLIKE KONAMI), Pomu took it to management with high hopes (because NijiJP has done collabs with idol groups before), and upon having it immediately dismissed without room for negotiation/discussion, it broke her heart.
Doing a quick search, Niji no Conquistador is under King Records, which is a competitor to Universal Media. Wouldn't be surprised if this guy shut it down because of his connection to Universal.

1. I remember thinking this was outrageous, since none of the public information at the time pointed to this being possible. This screenshot was being circulated between christmas and the first week of january. I remember replying to it at least once with something along the lines of "it doesn't watch how Selen writes, go watch her tutor stream and make a better fake" I was not a believer in rrats back then. The final third of the post in the image is very similar to the one we currently have, Selen is sad with what is happening and states for the artists to not let this info slip to the public.

Any half decent lawyer doesn't take a case they don't think they can win, and you can just go to Slack and request everything Selen thinks is questionable because they have to give it to your for legal compliance that isn't worth being fined or kicked out of Canada for refusing. Nijisanji might be worth a lot, but I guarantee they're not worth enough to get Slack to just ignore their home market and to paint themselves as a company that will bow the knee for pennies relative to what a lot of the companies who use them are paying them.
