Phase Connect's Pipkin Pippa (and eventually Panko) designed a parody VTuber company with AI-generated art. Some of her fans played along and it outgrew the joke to become an actual indie circle (with Pippa's blessing), using a corpo-style gen structure and AI art as a kickoff point. 1/10 can be considered 100/1000 patients or even 1000/10,000 in a somewhat strict analytical sense.
Not to mention that a quick google reports that the Daily Average Census for inpatients in the US is around 600k, so a "good" statistic easily and terrifyingly spirals very quickly.

Though I can logically figure that if someone has a life threatening condition the chance that they'll take anything regardless of what little chance of death it provides is somewhat high, barring extraneous financial circumstances.

Starting out with a png is great, its what most of flavr has done, but I would also check booth for good free or cheap live2ds that might fit the character, or use vroid to make a simple 3d model. You'll definitely get a lot more interest if you do.

Same thing happened with Mixie, she learned about it through FalseEyeD, FlaVR has cropped up a few times outside of that as well, and some people learn about it through finding the talents on their own.
Not to "muh timeloop" but its why I think that the tag was a lot more important than people seem to give it credit, you have more people forming a community around the group and learning about the other talents passively.

as a fellow artist type, when you are handed something, a creative type will either approach it in 2 ways
1. Mold it and dominate it until it only resembles the original barely and it is yours for all purposes.
2. Try and live up to the expectations (real or imagined) you feel come with this; you will either fill them or decide to go your own way and start something new with slight connections to the original.

Abi is in the number 2 creative type, and feels like she is not living up to being feesh. Therefore it seems she want to do something similar to Marie and start somewhat new and know for sure it is her's, even if the connections formed remain

Tl;dr Artfag autism of seeing flaws sucks, is glad people watch her for her, but needs to satisfy her creative 2 type needs or else menhera.

I think the difference is that Nyana was a true capippalist. She loves Pippa and Panko, so she wanted to pay tribute to them. Kinda like Brolime. Other people weren't that attached to the idea of FlaVR.

Funnily enough, Abi ordered a Pippa Youtuzz plushie. I think she's in Marie's boat and pants and repescts Pippa, but want a total overhaul, but doesn't want to go as gradual as everyone else. Plus she seems to still like feesh, so she's going for a more Marie-style goodbye for now.

That said what she showed makes me think this is in waaaayy early dev, with only a design and nothing else. So we'll see how it goes I guess.

First off, I want to preface what I'm about to say that I don't want to detract from Abi's decision. When you're doing creative work, and your heart's not in it for whatever reason, that just sucks. I'm just commenting on the dichotomy of creative appraoches you're presenting.

I think there's another approach which is to lean into it as a creative limitation, and force yourself to explore the limited possibility space through innovation. For example, look at myhouse.wad. They were limited by A) what was possible with the Doom engine and B) how many different ways can you portray the same floor plan over and over. I think Brolime employs this sort of strategy - what can be done within the confines of a youtube stream, with a specific character, and, before he had a rigged model, with AI art only. Or, maybe you're just a man with a voice changer, you could see it as a debuff, or you could ask yourself how it could be used to do things that wouldn't otherwise be possible, and what sorts of things can or can't be done if you're limitted by it. Or another example, maybe you have an audience from the edgier side of the internet, but you work for a corpo that limits just how edgy you can be, so you have to be creative to find things they like without going over the line.

That said, if the limitations are too strict, at some point you exhaust the possibility space, and run out of things to do, and eventually you may to move on. Sometimes, if you keep digging, there's more there than you ever would have thought, and you get ideas out of it that nobody else would've ever thought of. But sometimes, there's just nothing else left to do, and you have to move on.

it'd be one thing if she actually fully exhausted the options, but a common theme with these rebrands has been artificially limiting themselves (or in Abi's case getting fucked by her shitty laptop constantly dying) for the sake of not being seen as a clout chaser or leech then being disappointed with the results of staying in their self imposed bubble. Even after Sena and Nyana proved you can be taken seriously while using the flavr character there's still so much unnecessary neuroticism about it.

If any streamers are lurking, get out of your head and start networking and for the former flavr femanons just drop the whole rebrand/group entirely and pick your characters back up, you don't stream in 2d2u anyway so there's no loss
