I've never been a fan of the loopstation streams since it's usually a bunch of shitty MIDI instruments and a melody with seemingly little to no thought put into it repeating over and over and over until my ears bleed. He can't seem to remember what he made previously and can't tell when he's playing wildly off key and it all clashes.
Loopstations can be really fun to watch someone construct when they're actually...building more of something with it. It's been a long time since he built up something interesting using the layering the loopstation is made for.

If all he does is loops, he's probably stuck in Four Bar Loop Hell, which is perfectly normal when you're starting out. He probably needs to learn about common song structures to build out a song that actually goes somewhere, and iterate on it with more intention. He seems like someone who likes hands on learning, so a good start that gets pretty instant and tangible results would be trying something like this exercise with a song that he knows well, and building a new, emotionally similar song from the resulting framework:

Learning music theory is a good idea, but too broad of a goal for someone too new to know what parts will be useful to them. It's like saying to learn math, or coding. Which, and why? If you don't have a teacher or syllabus pacing and guiding you, it's probably best done as a gradual process over time, learning specific concepts as you need them for projects.

I noticed last time that one of the strings on his rhythm guitar loop had a bum note. Not sure if he played it wrong or if it was just a loose string, or what.

One thing that you have to learn to do for music production is to take a step back and listen to a reference track now and then. Mistakes build up over time, and your brain actually acclimates you to them, especially when you're in a short loop like that. You stop being able to listen as critically, and it helps a lot to pause and listen to something you know is correct every now and then to retrain yourself. It also helps to just come back to it another day, but that's less of an option for the span of one stream.

Unlike his Twitch audience which skews older and calmer, his YouTube audience is largely horny teens new to both livestreams and the Internet in general. They spam up the chat with cringe/irritating/inappropriate/offtopic things and whine when they don't get a reply.

He just did his first zatsu on YouTube (instead of a lecture where he's not as interactive) and they sent in the most heinous superchats e.g. admitting to jerking off to his crossdressing stream or traumadumping about their friend currently overdosing on hard drugs. He read all of these superchats and only started lightly suggesting (too late, IMO, as I was too put off by it to enjoy the stream anymore) that he might not read your offtopic SCs about your micropenis and not to spam the same question he's ignoring on purpose because there is no funny response to it.

There's one (maybe two) mods in chat desperately trying to tardwrangle but can't possibly keep up with the thousand rowdy children who don't read the rules and fight back. (But Moooooom, that's not fair!!) His Discord server is a similar situation, and it seems both he and his mature audience have largely given up even looking at it.

1)Learning music theory in not big chunks (there's a shit ton of info on the internet, so key component is try as much different people/resources as you can to find ones more suitable for your type of brain and click with you). Start from something relatively easy like major scale/intervals, what types of simple chords (major, minor, sus etc) exist, maybe even circle of fifths/fourths etc and go from there depending on your needs. I absolutely hate relatively popular agenda, often coming from people who're either don't make music themselves or dogshit at it and trying to justify it. And a lot of people afraid of being called nerds or autists for trying to understand it. Music theory is very handy tool, not only in "active" way (using it in writing process) but also in passive way (for example, you came up with something cool, either unconsciously or by throwing shit at canvas, and you can understand at least to some degree what you've done, how to do it again, why you like it etc)
2)Apply it to practice as soon as possible, do short 1-2 minutes songs/loop pieces/beats as much as you can
3)Learn or analyze different songs (even in most overplayed and well-known songs you can find a lot of details and tricks you can take in your toolbox, but you can never hear them during average "listening music on background" experience)
4)Treat process of composing not as something out of your control (muse/momentary inspiration/streams of the universe going through you/God's help and other crap). Creating music - is process consisting of various choices, which is done by no other then you
5)Embrace all ways of writing: writing consciously (using your knowledge), writing unconsciously (using your ear), "by throwing shit at canvas" way. All of them have their own ups and downs, but all of them are valid and useful. By using certain ones at right moments will really help boost strongs sides and diminish weak ones.
There's certain specific in Lando's case (because he streams that process to big audience), but I think those are my general advices to anyone who's trying themselves in that field
