To be honest? I think HoloEN is extremely bland and boring. They're nice people (I guess) but the content is too stale and sterile. I'm grateful for them being the gateway for newfaggots getting into the "genre" of vtubers but I implore you watch other talents outside of them. You'll quickly find that HoloEN is relatively mediocre after watching other vtubers, including HoloJP. Some of them may be talented but that talent doesn't make them an entertaining streamer and unfortunately streams account for 95% percent of their content.

I like all their content except Calli's, and their collabs are fun. I'm still not committed enough to watch anyone live, I don't have the time due to professional and personal reasons, but I've caught Gura and Kiara streams live and have enjoyed interacting with them.

I feel the same way about Nijisanji and most indievtubers. They all larp as an anime girl, with that same high-pitched upbeat girly girl voice. Call me rude, but I honestly cant tell them apart if Im not remembering their models or the rrats people make about them on /vt/

Whereas I think Hololive succeeds where others dont, is that the girls in a gen have differences.

EN Gen1 does this flawlessly. Ina, Calli, Kiara, Ame and Gura are so humongously different in detail, talent, voices, personality, and their fans, niches, ~~fetishes~~, lore, types of humour, interests, style of entertainment

Theres so much depth to all the girls and variety, and hololive really works, perhaps because of the dream of an idol company.

Yeah, so youre girls are really good friends, but thats just because they are a bunch of samefags talking to each other.
