wrong perspective
Growth isnt something that happens progressively, it happens at bursts.
The normal state of vtubing is being stale with small decline.
Then, one day, out of nowhere, a clip goes viral, or a huge vtuber decides to make you her pet.
Then you blow up to the stratosphere, where you once again become stale, and decline. This is the cycle.

You are not a farmer, you are a fisherman. Some days no fish will bite, and you have to wait. Every single stream you make is a rod you cast into the ocean, waiting to make that one clip that will make you viral, or get you noticed.
You have to see streams as buying a lottery ticket of a lotto you might never win, but then again, 90% of all gamblers quit before making it big.

In the meantime, what can you do until your time in the spotlight comes? Well, hone your skills, cause once the eyes of the world are on you, the challenge will be to make them stay, and very few are capable of that.
Be glad you arent growing! It will give you time to practice. Also if one day you get a big raid and you lose your spaghetti and cut the stream, thing I have seen many times before, it will all go to waste, so take this time to work on that.

Point here is right mentality will take you a long way, this is a marathon, not a race, and it took Shilily 4 years of 2viewing to take the top spot. Do not listen to the voices that say rules dont apply to you, it takes on average 2 years to reach partner, and most people never reach it

I've been quietly watching this thread since it first started without a word to see how certain things played out
Nothing on this board has ever convinced me to stick to being a unicorn more than this place, but some of the shit very obvious male vtubers pulled here and still somehow got away with is so stupid that it got funny to watch
I noticed how dumb it was when dudes here started implying that viewers were less important than male vtubers in really subtle ways at first, thinking that anyone should be able to notice, but instead it kept getting worse until it got to the point of parody. That distorted ogey advice post from like 2 days ago was more or less claiming that the path to success is trusting male vtubers while not only warning people away from viewers in general, but using that as a springboard to then claim that the right way to succeed is to disregard non-NPC viewers who actually want to watch you for you.
The funniest part is that they will literally call everybody here a groomer....while grooming people into normalizing male collabs(with them, naturally) when a single look at the entire industry outside of most of /lig/ and /vsj/ proves over and over again that they are literally gaslighting any strays here into being leeched off of at best

I honestly just want to tell that one viewer anon who has been providing great advice this entire time that they did a great job and that I honestly mildly respect them for putting in so much thankless effort. I've been rooting for you since I could tell first thing that you were one of maybe four people that have posted here total that were only interested in being helpful instead of self-serving.Well, disregarding the fighting game addiction, but at least you were honest and not trying to gaslight people here into obvious debuff content(I'm so sorry anon...), so it's a trivial detail that is easy to forgive

anyway, my first and probably final piece of advice for any actual new female vtubers after being here since this thread started out is thus:
1) Basically every single one of you is WAY too easily persuaded by male vtubers to justify any potential interaction with them.

Not one time have I seen obvious bullshit called out; for most of you, a strict "no males" rule would be one of the best decisions you could make. I almost lost it when that one girl seemed to believe rebel way back at the start but right now the vast majority of you look almost as silly, and just don't realize it because you've been a frog getting slow-boiled.
I never knew EN male vtubers were as slimy as they are here until I bothered taking an interest in this mild drama, but as a parting tip, for the one who cries about groomers here in almost every thread, thank you for providing an example of actual projection on this board without using it in a buzzword sense.
What a fucking mess the "male" vtubers /here/ all are when a fucking kenzoku is more altruistic, calm, and objective than any of them, the absolute fucking state really

Would you surrender these girls to those you hate?
