Here's my theory.
>Niji management made talents themselves organize and partially even finance the projects they wanted to do.
>Selen tries to negotiate licence agreements with the copyright holders herself cause management didn't move their ass.
>A non-legally binding agreement is made, management just needed to sign off on it.
>Selen assumes its a done deal, produces the commissions/produces the video.
>it's done, publishing date is set, Selen urges management to finalize the agreement before premiere

I worked as an editor for a affiliate company of a TV station years ago. This is usually how licencing fuckups transpire. Maybe Selen was just fed up and didn't stop the premiere to send a signal to management. Maybe Niji made her think she had perms and forgot to update her until after the premiere. It's not like you can't imagine them being this incompetent if they can't even send out NDA notices that are addressed at the correct person.

This is my question too. also her Twitter spaces seem like she's trying really hard to sound like she's as shaken up and upset as possible which comes off as strange to me.

Don't get me wrong, if she was hospitalised like she said that needs to be taken seriously, I'm just not confident she's a completely reliable narrator. Especially given her volatile mental state. I'll still support her, but we just really don't know what really happened. /vt/ can pretend like they know, but they don't.

The perms were about using the likeness of a Nijisanji liver in her video. She would need to edit the video - and the images in it - to remove the liver in question which would have caused her a lot of time and money. In addition to this Selen knew that the talent retroactively withdrew consent maliciously and there were other talents that were shown in the video which would do so after the edit. This led to a lot of mental agony and stress for her.

like with every other project a nijien liver attempted, management revoked perms last minute because they're fucking retarded and can't do basic checks beforehand. this is why pomu left. rosemi's bungee jumping video got completely lobotomized for the same reason too.

the only thing selen did different was push back against kurosanji for the sake of her creative vision
