Problem is that there have been enough yabs that have been manager related, so now Niji management IS seen as oppressive, and it's not just the more radical /vt/ crowd saying it but also the main fanbase seeing it too on twitter, youtube comments, etc.. Niji reputation took a hard hit, and their approach of staying silent isn't working.

If Niji wanted to really fix this, I think it would eventually require an acknowledgement of some fault by Anycolor/management side on the matter, and then it would require evidence that they're trying to actively make things right-- basically what Millie is saying in OP but more concrete... or hell, they could ship out the talents' play buttons for a start. Until there is acknowledgement of fault, the reputation will continue bleeding out. Put out a statement either officially or unofficially through talents, and then make people believe it by changing their approach. Realistically, this will never happen because 1.) management changing their own management hardly works and 2.) it requires fundings, and good luck trying to get Riku to give up additional-yacht money for this.
