The problem is now the mess is getting bigger and there's really only two options left to get rid of it. Either the company gives out some excuse or statement that may or may not be true and may or may not include Selen's agreement that actually clarifies the situation in the short term and then work out an amicable separation with Selen seperately in the longer term and have her continue working until that separation point. Or the worst case which is to just terminate her Zaion style because that is the only way to actually justify the termination.
I have no doubts Selen wants out either way at this point, the main determinant is whether the company likes to torch their public image more or not. They don't need to bow to pressure but things are coming to a head and I don't believe they have much longer that they can stay silent on the issue and not suffer consequences on the margin such as the other talents being affected by this via PR and etc. that could start impacting EN branch's financial performance.

Whether it's to anyone's liking or not is another question, but I've said before that I'll follow her (if possible) wherever she goes next... A lot of the bad stuff can be overstated sometimes and it's likely Selen just doesn't see it that way at all, or at least not entirely. After all it's thanks to being in Niji that got her this kind of reach, and encouraged her to do all the amazing things she's done in the first place. Plus her last Members Posts and Tweets showed no indication from her about wanting to leave, but rather to push herself and keep going into the year...

As for the esports stuff, I think they will always remain niche, but will be around for as long as the game remains relevant with the exception of esports like Rocket League who have elements of real sports that traditional sports fans can understand and appreciate more easily assuming Epic doesn’t kill it by existing.
