4. Coco ended up leaving because Covercorp failed in over a year to create a good environment for Coco to continue her livestreaming normally, a fucking year, even the chinese spammers got banned on their own forums before Covercorp figured out how to deal with it, and they obviously still haven't

They only have full months, so no January data, but I took a look at them manually, and guess what. 1.86 hours is her average stream length in January so far. So, more but shorter streams seems pretty easily confirmed. (As for why it's so much lower, she's had a lot of collabs which have only gone for an hour and change, and multiple very short Mario Kart practice streams with a penalty condition that ended the stream that were all sub 1 hour.)

That means at least one of the alternatives I mentioned is plausible. Let's look at the other. Conveniently, Playboard let's you filter by SC thresholds, so let's just look at streams with more than 50$ in superchats.

So yeah. When she streams, she streams for less time, and her SCs aren't on as often So it's not surprising at all to me that her SC/stream is going down. You can try and argue that maybe SCs were on and simply no one was sending them, I guess? But only 11 streams out of 235 had SC totals less than 50, and in a lot of them it's because she had SCs left on at the start but turned them off once she did start since she wasn't able to read SCs that day, so I doubt it would really have that much of an impact on the analysis.

All that doesn't even get into why you think SC / stream is a more relevant metric than just total SCs. If there was a vtuber that streamed once per week, and got 10,000$, and another vtuber that streamed 7 times a week and got 3,000$ each stream, the first one will have an SC/stream more than triple the second one, but you're going to have a hard time convincing me the one that made 21,000$ in that week is doing worse than the one that made 10,000$ in that same week.
