We can all admit that that Marine and Pekora are older women and they've proven that it's important to have the predictability of a settled person in this business. The company must come first in an employee's life.

Usually we'll be able to identify the next generation from their previous lives, although it might not always be the case. It'd be interesting if the next gen were new to this, or at less known to make it more interesting, and it'd be tougher to place their age group in that case.

I do think there's a big point to this, because as viewers we know how on and off both Myth and Promise have become. If viewers notice, you can bet it all on management and Cover itself noticing as well.

The reason Pekora leads charts is because she's able to focus almost entirely on pumping out videos. It's much easier to gain traction when you're always producing, and if you're lucky your fanbase develops a consistent fomo (fear of losing out) state and that can lead to more consistent viewership numbers because fans feel obligated to watch.

The reason for Marine's success is similar but that she also has the tendency of leaning into the more 'sexy' themes, which is always a seller in any business, and nobody does that quite as much as Marine in hololive = becoming the top JP member.

Unfortunately, the answer is we don't really know:
1. It's not strange for an Idol to practice for a major event for many weeks, but that's generally the case for live singing and dancing.

2. We don't know if it's fully live or not: Susei has done all-live events in the past, but whether that's common would take an insider. Generally though, it's likely that the dances are live, but not the singing, as Japan has laws about what can be called "live" as an event.

3. Everyone would presumably need to go to the Hololive office to practice (since the dance has to work great both with the software and on camera,) so even dances that normally wouldn't take too long to practice would be trickier due to scheduling.

4. Any EN girls who don't have a visa for Japan can only stay for 90 days (per year, I think?) and Japan was pretty strict about Visas in the past, so a lot of them might end up getting flown back and forth on fairly short notice if the production has any problems.

5. There have been accusations of "skin walking" in the past, which would make things way easier, but I have my doubts that Hololive would risk doing that if it can be avoided.

As I go on to state, we DO have this sort of thing. They're called "gifted programs" (among other names). For many schools (mine included, when I was a child), they also acted as feeder programs into private High Schools.
