She's alright. Singing is decent, but I really don't think it's something exceptional. The face doesn't actually bother me as much, it's mostly overhype from having someone labeled as a vsinger instead of just a normal streamer. I guess I can look forward to more original songs hopefully, and more support for covers maybe with better MVs rather than the members having to pay out of pocket.

This. What people thought they were getting was a Sora level singer who would sing English songs and maybe the occasional Japanese cover. Except what they got was haafu under the EN name, singing japanese songs for those who live in an asian timezone. People get angry when these points are brought up, but the fact is if people want this there are 5 generations of Holos, including Sora and AZKi, who can already offer all of the above. So people are rightly asking "What is the point of this girl and who is she for exactly?"

First off, Namarin would've been a better fit for HoloEN2 than Vsingers, as Namarin doesn't have enough charisma to solo debut with no genmates.

Second, This is by far the ugliest model in Hololive, she has to deal with this shit for 6 months or more before getting a fix. Namarin doesn't have the charisma to carry a subpar looking avatar.

Namarin herself is fine choice. Most of the problems are due to staff incompetence or complacency(coasting on the brand).

Probably the most milquetoast person to ever become a vtuber. She's like Ina who works best in her specialized talent, but even Ina has more personality than her. She must live an average life, which is good for her, but is pretty boring if you're going to relay stories about your life. She talked about needed more memory for a phone for christ sake. Banter is like a joke with no punchlines. The only unusually fortunate thing to happen in her life seems to only be getting into hololive. Singing is okay but lacks emotion. Feel like she gets drowned out by the music more often than not. Scheduling was awful first week but she seems to have fixed it somewhat in the 2nd week. Still no ASMR yet. Probably going to do the usual Watson whisper tease at the end of streams. I've kinda gotten used to the awful design since everything above is more of a problem than this right now.

- Hololive is betting the world on Irys, with an animated MV and 3 originals right for debut. All the useless money could have been spent on actually scouting a professional singer instead of an anisong meme with no formal training. Gaming skills can be taught in months, but singing takes way longer.
