(The limit mostly lies in physical-focus activities ie Sports and similar things). So the comparison is rearing its head: If there were no different in content at all, quality and quantity and variety, then which medium would be preferred by a non-bias, non-habitual audience?

Well unlike ark, the game is actually good. It runs amazing for an early access Unreal Engine game and actually has the potential to be better.
As for why holos have 3 separate servers, the game's intercontinental netcode suck. Anything over 100ms ping is a bad experience overall, though they could've merged the ID and JP servers together. That's probably the only thing they are somewhat behind on.
