After you figure out a basic workflow, verything feels much faster, especially if you use something like facedetailer after locking down the first pass; doesn't generate the whole base image again like SD.
There are a couple features I do miss from SD, like matrices and x/y plots, but you can just get custom nodes for those

I haven't evolved beyond gen / upscaling. I wanna add in adetailer but adding in stuff as a layman is tedious and annoying. It's annoying trying to look at someone else's png info because it just replaces your workflow, it's hard to isolate a task since it wants to just run the entire operation every time you queue. It is WAY faster though which really is why I'm still using it over SD right now while I'm on this sdxl / pony kick.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably stick with SD for now since I'm already familiar with it, despite the issues I keep running into. Most of it is minor annoyances that require me to restart the terminal, like adding a new LORA into the folder while I still have it open, but refreshing it from within the UI causes it to just infinitely load and not actually let me use the newly installed LORA. Usually only happens if I've had the UI running for a long time. Not an issue if I do it early on after initiating it.

nta but I've also noticed this as well, but I have not had that issue on comfy. My best guess is that the auto implementation of CFG rescale is faulty somehow.
That said, have you tried prompting artists with stronger/weaker weights? Its a necessity with easyfluff + hll lora, I believe

Man, getting Ollie to have sheer red tights, whilst also not confusing the AI with her patchwork zombie skin, is actually really tough. In my efforts to make the image more color saturated and less brown, increasing the artist weight led to a host of image changes I wasn't happy with, so I went on another tediously lengthy quest to wrangle it.
As soon as I'd have one of her design elements fixed, a different one would disappear or change. For example, trying to keep the pantyhose NOT ripped by putting ripped pantyhose in the negative prompt, would cause other parts of her outfit that is supposed to be ripped, to become not ripped, causing other design elements like her red skirt stitching to vanish.
I wish there was a better way to get the AI to understand when certain keywords are only supposed to affect a specific clothing element, unless there is and I'm unaware of it.

Thanks. As tedious as it is, I still enjoy learning and figuring stuff out. Will help me in the long run. Eventually I'm sure we'll get to a point where the tech will be able to better ascertain our instructions and give us what we're really asking for, as long as it's made available to the public, or a public extension gets developed.

Yeah, I have it but I'm using it at too low of a weight (0.4). When I bumped it up it started messing with a lot of other stuff. I gotta find the right sweet spot, but then I'd spend a whole day on it again. My biggest issue with making AI is that I get hyperfocused on a single look, so if something is off or I'm not happy with it, I will spend ungodly amounts of time trying to get it to look just the way I want it to when I should probably just try another seed or something.
