In my opinion ot's a lot about knowing your audience: if you are a GFE obviously it will be selfdestruction (Mikoneko) but if you built an audience of normies (vshojo) you will probably be fine.

i wanted to show off a design i did for pafu! i chose to base her after a callophrys/green hairstreak butterfly (dunno if she's suppose to be one? but i think its super cute)

i did a little more with the green for the rest of the design and to tie more into the "greenhairstreak butterfly" name as well as making it look a tad bit uniform.

i based it after y2k/bimbocore pictures, models, and fashion lines per request.

Athy went back to streaming recently and her audience followed. She never got off of YT, and she didn't do that many clips or shorts, but rather focused on song covers and original song releases. If your chuuba's into the singing aspect, maybe try suggesting that she makes some singing shorts using a donation or something - I've seen those around.

Absolutely terrible idea: Collabs with guys that aren't content creators. People want to know who that is and not feel like you're just playing games with your discord mods. You're also not growing by tapping into their audience. Just all around bad idea.

Depends but usually bad: Maletubers your size or smaller.

Alright: Maletubers bigger than you.

Pretty good: Non-vtuber content creators in a male aligned interest space. You're gaining fresh viewers and showing your existing ones your ability to care about stuff they care about.

Six star option: You're teaching something girly with a content creator who's also into the girly thing. This is perceived as relatively non threatening and gives you a slightly higher female viewership with repeat use.

Generally speaking male collabs do not need to be a defacto nerf on growth.

HOWEVER.

Most indie ENtubers don't have a strict no male policy.
If you do utilize one, your brand attains a niche appeal. Few things are an instant hit — It's usually about stacking buffs and compensating for weaknesses.
