Okay, I found a name. It was not easy, but it works well. I have also created a brand new YouTube, Twitch, and Twitter account. So far, that's where we at. I'll be looking for a suitable artist, because the idea itself, along with a pretty good lore is already in my head, it just needs to be materialized. Till then, I'll be learning about how to make my voice quality less scuffed, so at least that won't be an issue (my shitty pronunciation and nervous stuttering will make me it difficult to understand me anyway). I'll also do some test streams on an alt account to try and get comfortable with speaking for an extended amount of time. It's going to take a while to get enough money for a model, and besides the things I mentioned, not sure what else could I do. Any advice?

It would depend on the style of ASMR you want to do but yes absolutely because good ASMR, as a vtuber anyway, is more dependent on the person and not necessarily the audio quality. For just spoken roleplays, you could easily get away with a USB mic.

Once you start wanting to add in trigger sounds and really capture sounds like mouth noises and the such, that's when you'll find the limitations of USB mics. But you'll still make serviceable ASMR. There's an entire genre of lofi ASMR which is purely just people with shitty mics.
