The day before yesterday, she had to record three song vocals for an upcoming project (and it's not like she sings once and it's done, she needs to learn how to sing the songs, record a bunch of takes with different settings and according to the producer's wishes she needs to record harmonies, etc.), she edited a bunch of the shorts and clips she has in stock for her break, she did administrative work with management and they also probably got a meeting regarding Mel's situation and instructions from Cover to prevent that happening. If you add streaming on top of that, it's a way more demanding job than a random back office administrator's cushy 9 to 5, not to mention the creativity it needs, handling her own and her company's PR, scheduling collabs, looking for feedback on social media, handling retarded antis and stalkers, and so on.
