every corpo was an indie at some time. you basically learn the ropes yourself, build up a portmanteau and join a big corpo once you're good enough and they can be impressed with your content. otherwise you could remain an indie and build up your own brand or try to find some felow indie friends you could group up with and create a group of your own. it wouldn't be a traditional corpo, but you'd still be able to circlejerk between yourselves and share the viewerbase somewhat. and there'd be no money or legal/NDA bullshit involved. there's a whole lot of options overall

VAllure has the most known 80/20 split in favor of the chuuba and takes nothing from merch. They pay for all your shit, model, rigging, lore, advertising, equipment, optional managers, etc. They can also give you training and schedules/stream ideas, and scripts. Pretty solid overall, lax but not entirely absent management, potential for good viewership, however viewership varies heavily between members.

Somewhat similar to Phase, but they are arguably more lax with management and supposedly have a better revenue split. They have a few issue behind the scenes though (Riro grooming, Yuko autism, brave group merge, and donothon reward delays) and I don’t know how confident I am in fully recommending them, the numbers are solid for small corpos though and you can still make money.

Decent corpo, definitely smaller than Phase or Idol, but has been steadily growing and has been mostly yab free. Auditions have been relatively frequent too so it may be easier to get in than some other corpos.

Smaller than the rest here but stable with decent talent despite their small size. Pixellink has done a lot of networking so theres potential to branch out and interact with lots of other vtubers. Some members can at least make it to 3view, very few yabs as well.
These for the most part would be my recommendations at the moment. Theres a few others like VRev or Prism that could be worth a shot, but Vrev’s future is somewhat uncertain and Prism has pretty low potential for growth and is arguably the most strict as far as management goes.
