Immediately upon debut, I recognized Ruze's voice but everyone thought I was insane. No one had any solid reasoning as to WHY Matpat would become a Vtuber (especially as they were still putting out content). That being said with their recent fleshtuber graduation announcement I am almost certain that it absolutely is MatPat.Just as stated in their graduation video, managing an 18 million subscriber channel and media company is no easy task. My suspicion is that they've pivoted to becoming a Vtuber for something less intensive. They are now an employee with a salary being managed by one of the largest talent agencies in existence. While some may argue being a Vtuber may be significantly more time-consuming I'm sure Ruze would not have accepted the offer if there weren't reasonable arrangements in place to allow for this family/relaxation time they've been so desperately seeking. If not, just having the job itself provides them a piece of mind where they clock in and clock out and they don't have to worry about the fate of the entire company itself.Additionally, They have been in the professional theatre industry for years. They have always had a passion for the arts. He is a TOP entertainer and one with so much success that he was swept up by Hololive with the promise of a new beginning. A start of a quieter more anonymous lifestyle for him and his family. I don't want people to freak it in their chat, or harass them with this information I just hope that people know that this soul that we have all come to love and care for throughout the years isn't going away forever. At least not now. Please support Ruze he really is something special.
