In a general sense I think you want to approximately aim for top 3 in the group to make it to tsuyo cup and she's only got to upset one of three strong rivals, but also there's a bit of a gulf outside those three so it's likely that the points concentrate more in group E than elsewhere so it's possible that she could make it through even in 4th.

Also, group E has one fewer competitor than groups D and F. Does that give them an unfair advantage or disadvantage in terms of overall points? It'd be pretty shitty if group E gets boned other than first place just because they score fewer points in total due to having one fewer racer.

It's hard to say how it balances having one fewer racer, maybe that balances out in a seeded round, but Mori "lost" two points for those second places compared to if she was in groups A or B with those results.

Ina dominantly placed second in a Group B run that was filled with a lot of Hololive's perennial Mario Kart tryhards like Subaru, Pekora, Towa, and Koyori. Mio could've probably also entered Group E as a potential top seed if she didn't get bumblefucked on Moo Moo Meadows. Both of them are the favorites for 1st place in Group E, with some threat from Koyori.

Calli's biggest obstacle won't be her opponents but the fact that Group E is short one player. Mario Kart 8 gives out less points depending on how many people are in the lobby, and Calli ended up in the player short lobbies twice in a row. At the end of the next qualifier she'll be at minimum 8 points short of wherever she should be. If the organizers were aware of this they'd pad the lobbies out with CPUs but this is a new format for them so they probably weren't ready for this issue.

Her best route to advancing (outside of placing first) is probably hoping Ina takes it as the 1st seed of her group since she has far more points to contend with, then she just needs to outplace Mio. If Mio takes first seed in group E then a lot more things need to go right for her to get into Tsuyo. There's not a lot of room for Group E users to advance into Tsuyo.

I've been busy this week, but I hope you've all been thinking about what you wanted to do for Mori's birthday in 3 months. Since I'll probably be the one organizing it this year, here's my thoughts on everyone's suggestions:

Interesting, but I'm not sure how interested other anons will be. Would have to hash out more details

Very ambitious, but it did have the most discussion iirc. Might have to scale down to finish in time.

Doesnt really feel as Mori related as the other games since she's never really talked about clicker games, would be down to make it some other time.

We dont have very many writers itt anymore, but this would probably be the easiest game to get less artistic anons to submit something for.

Not sure if chiptune beat is around and seems to be pretty difficult

We have less than 3 months left until Mori's birthday, so we should finalize what we are doing sometime this week
