I really want to support small agencies like Amber Glow but I get really nervous about the idea of talking in their chat. Honestly, as much as I prefer Youtube culture to Twitch, it's pretty clear that Nunki and Shura are succeeding much more on Twitch. Their Twitch streams are regularly in the mid to upper double digits and on Youtube they're below 20. I wouldn't blame them at all for focusing on it.

It wouldn't be if youtube gave even the teeniest of fucks about their own platform. They rent movies, but no watchalong feature to take advantage of it and get lots more customers. They have autoplay, but no way for the streamer to pick where they go. They have the worst chat delay I've ever seen, with it taking up to 20 seconds for chats to appear sometimes. Despite saying the red "live" indicator, you can often see that it's not in fact ahead by clicking the cog and selecting "2x" so the video plays at double speed for like 5-10 seconds until it's actually live (one indie I watch is gimped like 30 seconds with this). Their video quality is ass compared to twitch, yet they somehow have more buffers and stream outages. The only fuckin new feature I've seen on youtube streams in like a year is a shitty clip feature and a chat poll feature.

YT supports streaming up to 4k60

Even at 1440p the quality drastically improves. But the downside is the chat delay will increase.
