Now that Vshojo isnt a female only corpo, it gives Phase and Idol a bigger leg up in the "unicorn/GFE" territory since they have no males.

Anons, I need your opinion on time zones. I can stream at any prime time (Asia/EU/NA), but I simply can't decide which one of those would increase my chances of succeeding the most.
For the longest time, it seemed like streaming in late EU/NA evening was the only way of making it as EN vtuber, but when Luxiem debuted, they somehow managed to get huge Asian following. However, now there are barely any EN vtubers above 5k CCV that stream during Asian prime time, so is there any point in trying? Euro vtubers seem to be in a similar situation as well. Should I just focus on NA and stop worrying about "untapped" markets by EN vtubers?

Yes and no, if they are actively watching it counts them later on for the active viewers, usually two or three minutes later, while the viewer list API instantaneously adds them to it, but if they are not watching, or, as said before, they have the stream itself muted and are not on the tab itself, or as >>66156899 says (this starts to happen when you are "active" in three or more streams at the same time) then it won't count you because twitch starts to already dismiss your acitivity, as it is either suspicious, or inactive because watching streams muted is, for the viewer count, the same as not watching them.
