No I see it laid bare already. Cover will continue consolidating, lose its soul. It will still be the most watchable thing by far, there won't be any serious competitors. Hires will become more boring, it will be like the later stages of JP flesh idols where it is all by the numbers. Fuwamoco being able to bridge both the EN and JP sides of holo, their dedication, autism, will not be replicated because by the time the next batch come along Hololive will have become too established to accommodate the presence of someone with as much hunger as Fuwamoco have. In terms of the development of the subculture it will only get worse from this point, AI tubers, grifting outfits like phase, etc. Vtubers as we know them peak at Fuwamoco.
