I mean I watched her Apex clips. She’s certainly a decent player but she was basically just controlling the r-99 well. Her movement wasn’t particularly amazing nor did it seem like she had high levels of game sense. Obviously those night be old clips and she’s improved since then but I would judge her to be slightly better than Nose or Sumire skillwise. Also unless she lives in Japan (or at least Asia) she’s not going to be able to play in the tournaments.

Her older clips are probably her better ones, she didn't grind ranked super hard past season 4. So really it's hard to say who'll actually end up better or if she even decides to grind again now. I think it's fair to say she has the higher skill cap in fpses though with her accolades.

CR cup has some discounts like -2 if your a girl or language barrier. In Hals you are mostly at the mercy of your current and past rank and how good of a player you are. If he feels like your rank is lower than your skill level he will raise you to a point total to reflect that.

This, euriece chat is pretty much standard twitch chat but in jp version with some toxic comments. He himself is a good lad, there was a few times when he team up with indie vtubers in tokyo server and he is aware some of his audience are anti vtuber but he tells them not to go harass the vtuber. There are times when some of his jp viewers are sorta sexual harassing his girlfriend with comments like did you touch her boobies and he tells them to stop. There are some casual racism from the western side towards the jp audience too but he banned them. Toxic people exists everywhere.

Tournament are generally pretty campy. Usually they'll try to get good spots where they think the last final zones will go and if they can't they'll play edge. Most fights usually happen when the ring is closing when the teams that aren't inside the ring are trying to rotate. Most fights outside of that are generally pretty risky

The majority of viewers suck at evaluating others in Apex.
Among other problems to sperg about:
There're the people who follow the dumb end of looking only at official rank and others on the delusional end of baselessly ignoring rank entirely.
There're the people who overhype flashy mechanical skills and devalue broader situational awareness, communication, adaptability to different playstyles/situations, etc.
Of course there's the my oshi = 神 crowd.
And then those whose standards are so warped and molested by predator plays that just to qualify as 'decent' or 'okay' to these viewers, players have to be ranked Diamond 1 or Master touch. Before maybe earning the right to be merely 'good' by holding onto a solid Master rank.

Knowing that your question was genuine: there's a reason I didn't give an answer. Would have to watch more of both players to give an accurate evaluation. The whole problem is that we can't just look at rank and the problem goes both ways, with Matsuri being a bit overranked and Kanae definitely underranked. Just a guess, but Matsuri would probably be lower unless they were both forced to play Rev.
Another problem with rank is the way the system/lobbies have changed since the middle seasons, e.g., The introduction of Master Rank itself, Dia 1 lobbies made easier, C situation worsening. That's partially why all those cups don't evaluate rank past what was obtained in season 7.
