I like to try understanding Gura's absence in an optimistic point of view. She seems to have a good idea of her role as idol, that is to bring happiness and make people feel cozy, funny feelings and forget that life sucks even if for just 1hour.
If you overshare with your fans, not only it makes easier for stalkers but also risks getting into menhera territory. It's a volatile compromise that doesn't exactly go along with the roles of an idol (described above)
