I had a think recently about "What do I enjoy about watching the wawa?", on one of the quieter days. Mostly, I enjoy knowing that she can make a stable career out of this and not have to job hop from one soul crushing shit job to another, I guess in kind of a "kid sister" sort of way.

I ain't no therapist, but what do you mean by "out of synch"? Are you not enjoying watching her gaming / whatever streams? If not, I'd recommend just as well skipping them, or putting them on as background noise, and focusing on the stuff you do enjoy.

One thing I noticed with myself, especially after this year, is that there are some VODs I don't end up going back for if I miss live. My FOMO means I'll watch paint dry with Kiara live, but I haven't gotten a chance to sit down and watch the whole Metroid Prime series and I don't really pay attention in Hotline Miami, for example. Not because there was anything wrong with it (yeah yeah, the ending for Metroid, frustration whatever. I'm talking as a whole for all the VODs, not just like an hour of a single one.) but because I get filtered by metroidvanias hard. They're just boring to me, whether 2D or 3D. Meanwhile, the original Ryza streams and Mario 64 streams often get put on when I"m completely dry of VODs, because I loved early Kiara too and those games are things I enjoy.

eh, Odyssey works comparatively well for her mainly because of two reasons: the "challenges" are mostly small, self-contained, and don't feature too much of her usual weaknesses (timer-pressure and extended gauntlets of mechanical skill where one mistake means failure).
And if she dies, which she still does often, the checkpointing in Odyssey is really generous, which alleviates her other prominent frustration source, getting tilted because it takes too long to get back where you were. You're basically right back in the action quickly, so it doesn't feel too punishing.

The worst thing is that there's even settings in windows that does most of the routine "cleanup" (delete temp files, trash, downloads, old updates and restore points etc.) for you and you don't need third party utilities like CChinkleaner anymore.
But unfortunately of course in typical Microsoft fashion most of those settings aren't turned on by default and hidden in three different configuration menus.

I honestly don't know, because as someone who's computer-literate the issue never even comes up to me in the first place.

Because Windows is a piece of shit and will generate temp files which it won't delete afterwards. I ran into that issue back on Windows 7 first and it hasn't been fixed ever since. Google it, there are hundreds of other users reporting the same issue. The good thing is you can just use the built in Disk Cleanup to get rid of them safely, but it's still annoying it doesn't do it automatically.

On W10/11 you can turn on "storage optimization" or whatever it's called in the system settings. It does most of the basic cleanup routines (delete temp files, empty trash and downloads folder) automatically for you on a schedule you can set yourself.
For more advanced stuff like clearing out old windows updates or unneeded restore points, yes you either need to still use the Disk Cleanup utility manually, or you can hack together a simple Powershell script with the cleanup actions you want done, and set it to run automatically every day/week/whatever in the background so you don't have to think about anymore.
