They somehow didn't realize how much of a task it is to get 8+ foreigners into the same room at the same time within the span of like a month and teach them how to sing/dance. If even one person has something come up last second then the entire thing falls apart. They just rushed it too much, it is literally that simple. They realized this too late then decided "welp this isn't going to work out" and cancelled. I genuinely believe they'll reschedule it for this coming year but the branch is so big now that it'll be less cohesive and they probably won't invite everyone.

I think what it was was that if more than one of the people listed in the pic wound up just being like "no fuck this backstreet boys shit I'm NOT doing it" aka taking the "we're normal and cool and not hololive" angle they love to play up to heart, that might be what it was. that or fulgur couldn't do it because of his back.
